This Norfolk Broads River Cruiser Class yacht was originally built as a half decker, one of a class of six designed and built by Ernest Woods in the late 1930s, all of which are believed to still be in commission today. Her cabin was fitted by Herbert Woods in 1950/51, and a Stuart Turner R3MC two stroke engine was installed at the same time. She is understood to be in very good overall condition having been partially rebuilt by Peter Simpson between 2006 and 2013 with approximately £4,000 being spent on
repairs to the hull and superstructure. Her current owner, who purchased her in 2012 whilst she was still undergoing her restoration, states that this small classic Broads sailing cruiser is “A delight to handle and a joy to see”. New long shaft outboard 2016 with six year warranty!
