The main cabin, which has about 4′ headroom, has a cooker to starboard (2 burners and a grill) plus storage cupboard and a sink unit with pumped cold water to port (plus more storage). Going forward there are two full-length settee berths, upholstered in royal blue leatherette and with storage – and the vessel’s polypropylene water tank – under. There is a removable folding table and shelves to both sides under the side-decks. In the bow, there is an escape hatch and access to the forepeak. The boat is fitted with electric lighting. Her interior is varnished with white painted sections. External: The boat has a galvanised pulpit rail plus integral A-frame for mast-lowering (also doubles as a hand rail on the foredeck). She comes complete with boathook, life ring, CQR anchor, ropes warps and fenders.
REMARKS: A beautiful and very unusual vessel, which we understand has been substantially renovated by the International Boatbuilding College at Lowestoft. She is thought to be the last of her type and, with her canoe stern, is a very pretty sight.
OUR OPINION: A superb small sailing cruiser, from one of Broadland’s long established – though now sadly long gone – boatbuilders. A gorgeous – and, we understand, quick – creature for which we have no hesitation in recommending early viewing.
