Remarks:

Linton Hope, naval architect to the King of Belgium, designed the Broads One Design (Broads OD or BOD) at the request of members of the Royal Norfolk and Suffolk Yacht Club in 1900 with the aim of creating a yacht that was both capable of sailing inshore off Lowestoft, and also suited to sailing on the Broads. In 1987 a glass fibre yacht was built – the first of 55. She underwent trials before being accepted into the class, reviving it’s popularity and success to the current day.

This GRP Broads One Design was built, owned and raced for some 15 years by A.D. Truman and his family, and her current (and only second) owner reports that he too has found her to be a very competitive boat, having always done well with her at sea week. She is understood to be in excellent condition throughout. She is being sold complete and ready to race! Any inspection welcome.
