Remarks:

The Hampton Safari is iconic amongst Broads motor cruisers – a modern day classic! With ample accommodation all on one level, and no complicated wheelhouse or canopy arrangements to lower for bridges, she is perhaps the perfect Broads cruiser for all year round use for a couple or small family.

Originally one of the Hampton Boats hire fleet she was technically the first Safari Mark 3 produced and in hire, with original newspaper articles showing her maiden voyage to be around 1st June 1976. She remained in hire for around 22 years until 1998 and she retains her original hire name of Regal Safari.
Purchased by her current owner in 2014 she has been much loved and well looked after in that time.
Her owner comments: “The boat has sufficient power for the southern broads at all states of the tide and is regularly used for traveling between northern and southern broads”

Externally, she would benefit from the replacement of the rubbing strake which is visibly starting to deteriorate and would have been the next project. Internally she would benefit from cupboards under the galley being replaced.

Reluctantly for sale after many happy years, owing to the desire for a change of pace and a sailing boat!

Please Note:

The photos are taken at various times with the lead image being from 2016. We understand that she is currently presented to much the same standard.
