Remarks:
With her shoal draft designed specifically for cruising the local waters of Essex and the Thames Estuary, the Finesse 21 proved to be a very successful design, with demand for a larger version eventually leading to the development of the Finesse 24 which remained in production until the 1990s.
Acknowledged to be one of the very best Finesse 21s to have been built, and also one of the last being number 78 of 80, this example has recently (2015-2017) been the subject of a no expense spared renovation and interior refit and has been very little used since. She is now very sadly for sale due to bereavement. Unashamedly traditional in appearance, the clinker hull, sweeping lines and varnished exterior make this a very attractive little sailing cruiser. Boasting a barely used Beta 16hp inboard diesel engine and as-new sails, and with a superb high spec twin axle road trailer new in August 2020 available by negotiation, this yacht cannot fail to impress!
PLEASE NOTE: This vessel was professionally renovated and refitted between 2015 and 2017 and all items described above as ‘new’ or ‘recent’ were installed during that period. During the renovation the vessel’s keel was modified for inland/protected waters use with additional ballast added and the centreboard removed.
DELIVERY: Delivery may be possible, subject to negotiation.
