Remarks:

The Hunter Horizon 26 is a small cruising yacht offering both good spacious family cruising accommodation including an aft cabin and separate heads, all in a compact form as well as good sailing performance.

Among the best performing bilge-keeled yachts on the market and versatile for exploring coastal regions or the shallower waters of estuaries and the Norfolk Broads.

This vessel is well presented and has been well looked after with routine maintenance carried out as required. She is fully kitted out for both off shore sailing as well as the Norfolk Broads where she has spent much her time as well as cruising the north Norfolk coastline.

The owners comment:

“My wife and I have been sailing Friendship for 5 years (on the Broads and along the coast as far as Bradwell in Essex with the Northern Rivers Sailing Club, based near Acle Bridge) since a friend and I sailed her from North Shields to her present mooring. She’s a very comfortable, stable boat at sea, and her ingenious internal layout makes for ease of living aboard for a week or two at least. We have participated in river cruises organised by the sailing club, and several Broadland voyages on our own. She has “dried” perfectly well in Blakeney “Pit”, and loves the brisk, steady breezes around the coast. I find her easy to control single-handedly on the rivers and broads, and a crew of one or two make for an easy life afloat.”

MOORING: It’s understood that a mooring may be available to the purchaser by separate negotiation (direct with the mooring owner) at the vessel’s current desirable northern Broads location.
