CONSTRUCTION: GRP

YEAR: 1997

DIMENSIONS: LOA 18′ 9″, BEAM 6′ 3″, DRAFT 10″ (with underfloor ballast for increased stability)

COLOUR: White with an Oxford blue Topland, red boat line and blue antifoul

INTERIOR: An open dayboat, with green, gold and blue striped awning and matching fitted cushions

ENGINE: Tohatsu 8 hp twin cylinder outboard in a well

EQUIPMENT: This vessel was built to a high specification including double, solid hardwood rubbing strakes, coloured Topland, moulded-in bootline, hardwood locker-trims. She is fitted with weatherproof cushions and a matching awning (with side curtains which roll up into the awning) plus a fore and aft canopy for use whilst moored. She comes complete with ropes, fenders, fuel tank, mudweight, ensign and road trailer.

REMARKS: This boat, the hull of which is the same – other than for the absence of a centreboard – as the well known and sea-kindly Drascombe Lugger (very similar in shape to a Yorkshire Coble), was our demonstrator whilst we were agents for Honor Marine, her manufacturers. She has only been used for boat shows and open days, plus a few evening runs out. In consequence, she is in excellent condition. Her engine was installed by Tohatsu UK and has had a maximum of 50 hours use since new during which time it has been professionally maintained. Her rubbing strakes and floor have been treated with Burgess Hydroseal.

OUR OPINION: A really nice, roomy dayboat – with weather protection. Full price of this boat (including engine, trailer and vat) was £12,789 before trade discount so, at this asking price, the vessel is a real bargain. She has since been fitted with a custom made Edwardian-styled mahogany and ash backrest, and has had her steering console moved aft.
