Remarks:
MAKE/MODEL: Jayne class motor cruiser by Martham Boat Building Company
CONSTRUCTION: Timber
YEAR: 1950s
DIMENSIONS: LOA 25′, BEAM 9′ 3″, DRAFT 2′ 6″ approx.
COLOUR: White hull with varnished superstructure and blue decks and cabin top
INTERIOR: 3 berths plus galley and separate toilet/shower
ENGINE: BMC 1.5 diesel
EQUIPMENT: Internal: This forward drive vessel has the steering position and living accommodation forward, where there are 2 settees (one of which converts into a double berth), the helm seat and a folding table. Aft of this is the galley area with a stainless steel sink unit, gas cooker and fridge. The toilet/shower compartment is accessed from the aft cockpit. The craft is well served with cupboards and lockers, and is light and airy. External: The vessel has recently had her decks recovered and is believed to be in sound condition. She comes with all the usual Broads boating gear.
REMARKS: Although at present only a 3 berth craft, it would not be difficult or expensive to convert her into a 4 berth.
OUR OPINION: In need of some tidying, but well worth looking at – especially if you’re able to do the work to bring her up to scratch.
