General Specification
Remarks:
CONSTRUCTION: GRP
YEAR: 1970s
DIMENSIONS: LOA 27′ 0″ (8.2m), BEAM 9′ 6″ (2.9m), DRAFT 2′ 10″ (0.9m)
COLOUR: White with dark blue trim and decks
INTERIOR: 4 berths plus galley and separate heads
ENGINE: BMC 1.5 diesel
EQUIPMENT: Internal: The boat has a large cockpit with helm and pilot seats plus a large transom seat. She has been fitted with a stainless steel rail, plus white PVC dodger, which not only makes this a very sheltered place in which to sit, but also provides a very useful backrest. The steering position is to port and there is a removable gas-powered chest-fridge located to starboard. The companionway leads down into the main cabin where the heads, with a new electric toilet and shower, is immediately to port, opposite which is a dinette (converts to a double berth). The galley area is to port and provides a Valor cooker (2 burners, grill and oven), stainless steel sink unit with pressurised hot (from a calorifier) and cold water, drinking water filter, worktop and cupboards. Going forward, there is a good-sized hanging locker and other storage set in the bulkhead between the dinette and the forward cabin. In that cabin there are two full-length single berths (convert to a double) plus storage and a hand basin with pressurised hot and cold. There is also an escape hatch and ventilator. Headroom, at about 6′, is good and the boats décor is in excellent condition, with upholstery in pink/beige dralon. She has a catalytic gas heater and electric lighting. External: The boat has an excellent white PVC canopy which matches and attaches to the aforementioned dodgers. She is fitted with navigation lights, has a hand-held plug-in lamp and comes complete with ropes, fenders and mudweight. She has stainless steel handrails and a transom-mounted boarding ladder.
REMARKS: This boat appears to be in very good condition. She is shortly to have her cabin top professionally repainted in International Paints, a job that it is planned to be carried out sometime in September. The boat is unusual in having the rail and dodgers round the cockpit, which were custom-made for it.
OUR OPINION: A really nice vessel, clean, spacious and comfortable. She is clearly much-loved and has been in the same ownership for some fourteen or fifteen years.
