Construction

  • GRP construction
  • Based on the Spray 28 design
  • Very heavily built (using female mould)
  • Epoxied (2 coats) below the waterline
  • Hull is insulated with 1/2in closed cell foam overlaid with 2oz mat

  • No engine

Accommodation

  • 3 cabins
  • Wheelhouse forward of the cockpit
  • Main saloon is 2.4m x 3.7m (8ft x 12ft) and requires fitting out
  • Aft of the saloon, the galley (currently just consists of carcasses) is to starboard and the heads compartment to port
  • Cooker with 4 burners, grill and oven is included in the sale
  • Separate heads compartment (all GRP mouldings) is nearly finished
  • Rear cabin goes under the cockpit sole
  • Forward of the saloon there is a further double cabin fitted out with a 2.1m (7ft) bed and lockers and draws finished in oak (requires completing)
  • Headroom 1.88m (6ft 2in)

Remarks:

This very heavily built hull is a stretched Spray 28. She was built by the builder for his own personal use, and subsequently sold to the current owner. She is now for sale due to a change of plans, and would ideally suit someone who wishes to fit out a vessel to their own specifications. Lying ashore.
