Accommodation

5 berths

This boat has a self draining cockpit. Entering the cabin, the galley is located to port, and consists of two sinks, storage space, work surfaces and a Taylor cooker with oven. Beside the galley, forward of a partial bulkhead, is the navigation area which consists a large chart table, the main switchboard, VHF radio and a huge amount of storage space. To starboard, there is a single berth (about 7ft 6in long). Forward of this cabin is a large hanging locker (which could be converted to another heads). Forward again is the main saloon. This will seat 8-10 people and provides a total of 5 berths, together with a large amount of storage space. Upholstery is believed to be in excellent condition. There is a saloon table that fits onto a central post. Going forward again, the heads is to port, and provides a sea toilet and a sink, plus storage space. Opposite the heads there is a further storage area. Finally, in the bow, there is a large anchor locker. This boat has a Taylor cabin heater, with flue and small chimney.

Remarks:

This boat was built in 1979 by Croft Marine in Dorset, but was not launched until 1991. She was then sailed from Poole to Northern Ireland, where she was lifted out and not relaunched until 2002. Her owner states that ‘The boat is in overall sound condition, barely used (it has sailed less than 1000 miles in 12 years) and would make an excellent vessel for someone planning blue water cruising. Its rig, deck equipment, and engine are in excellent condition’. Her owner is happy to collect and return serious viewers to/from the ferry or airport. It is believed that this boats topsides were repainted in 2003, and that she is currently ashore having a new starboard rubbing strake fitted, and a new echo sounder transducer put in place. Further details, as supplied by the owner, available upon request.
