Remarks:
This vessel has been partially restored over the past 6 years by her owner, a professional boat builder. She is now for sale due to the owner’s lack of personal time, however, the restoration could possibly be completed by the owner by separate negotiation.
Restoration work completed to date:
- New Douglas Fir keel, deadwoods, Oak floors and timbers (ribs)
- New bronze keel bolts and rudder fittings
- Hull refastened with copper and bronze
- Interior has been removed and revarnished
- Main bulkhead and double cabin doors have been removed and renovated
Restoration work still to be completed:
- Refitting of lead keel
- Fitting of new garboards
- Hull caulking
- Refitting of interior
- Refitting of cockpit, aft side decks and aft deck (some of which can be replaced)
- Refitting of main bulkhead and cabin doors
- Recovering of deck
- Cleaning up of spars
