Remarks:
This River Cruiser Class yacht was originally commissioned by a private owner as a racing boat, with her cabin being enlarged in the 1920s to facilitate more comfortable cruising and racing. She was professionally restored over a number of years by Colin Buttifant (completed 2011) with her racing heritage kept very much in mind so as to keep her competitive, and has been maintained to an extremely high standard since with a meticulous attention to detail that is clearly evident throughout. She benefits from a quiet and ecologically sound electric motor (new batteries June 2017) making cruising under power a pleasure, and had new sails, standing/running rigging and winches fitted in 2011/12. Regretfully for sale due to lack of time, this vessel’s mooring fee has been paid for the 2017 season.
PLEASE NOTE: The photos show the vessel under previous ownership, with those of her ashore having been taken by Topsail in 2015. We understand that the vessel is presented in very much the same condition now.
