Remarks:
It’s believed that this half decker was built by Ernest Woods with a larger rig, and hence bigger keel, for experimentation purposes. Whilst she was otherwise built to the same dimensions as a YBOD/White Boat, she has never been a class boat and it’s understood that her current fit out, including decks, bulkheads and seats, etc., do not conform to class rules.
Although in good structural order when she came ashore back in 2011, she has now sat for number of years (outside, but under a cover) such that she will require a good amount of work prior to re-launching. A rewarding project for someone with the time and skills to see this lovely vessel back on the water.
The photos show the vessel in 2019. She has remained covered for that time, although no further works have been done.
