Remarks:
The Skipper 17 (also known as the Mariner 17 and Skipper Mariner De Lux) is a deservedly popular trailer sailer. Developed from the open dayboat version, the cabin version offers accommodation for up to four and a good sized cockpit.
This Skipper 17 is understood to be in excellent condition throughout and benefits from having twin lifting keels, thereby removing the obstructive keel box from the middle of the cabin and making her an ideal family cruiser or trailer sailer. She has been owned by the current owner for some 5 years during which time she has cruised Chichester Harbour, the Solent and the Isle Of Wight. With various modifications to improve her sailing performance, and the original gelcoat finish throughout (which the vendor informs us has very few marks), this Skipper 17 is well worth viewing!
PLEASE NOTE: This vessel has not been used on inland waters and consequently she does not have a Boat Safety Scheme certificate.
