Remarks:
Designed by David Thomas (designer of the Elizabethan 30 and the hugely successful Sigma 33/36/38 amongst many others) and built in Britain by Hunter Boats (now British Hunter), the Hunter Duette 23, of which over 200 have been built to date, is the bilge keel version of the popular Hunter Sonata cruiser/racer. Whilst the Duette has an excellent reputation for stability and easy and predictable handling, she also offers very good performance, and that together with her shallow draft and ability to dry out upright make her an ideal sailing cruiser for the Norfolk Broads and east coast.
This Hunter Duette 23 underwent a major refit in 2012 including new interior linings, interior woodwork re-varnished, new upholstery, new electrics, etc. She is now offered for sale due to her owner’s advancing years.
MOORING: It’s understood that the vessel’s southern Broads marina mooring may be available to the purchaser (annual cost £1408.18 inc VAT).
