Remarks:
The Freeman 22 is a modern classic amongst inland motor cruisers, with the MKII (MK2) version benefiting from better headroom than the earlier MKI (MK1) version. Famed for the varnished wood interior and cockpit, and with the distinctive step in her side decks, the Freeman 22 MKII was one of the earliest GRP production boats and is still highly popular throughout the inland waterways of the UK and Ireland.
This Freeman 22 is extremely well presented throughout and benefits from numerous upgrades from new, particularly in her lovely forecabin, as well as a very recently reconditioned engine (professionally reconditioned by Marine Services, Stalham). Purchased by the current owner in 2014 when she was based on the River Great Ouse, Cambridgeshire, she is now offered for sale to facilitate the purchase of a sail boat and a quick sale is desired. Offering comfortable accommodation for four, and oozing character throughout, you won’t see many examples of the class better than this one! Timeless!
