Remarks:
As a proven and popular coastal cruiser, the Achilles 24 is not a traditional Broads yacht, but the owners of this example state that she has served them very well on the Norfolk Broads for over 20 years. Her mast is easily lowered single handed and the owners regularly ‘shoot’ Potter Heigham and Ludham Bridges, lowering and raising the mast whilst still on the move! The cockpit awning over doubles the accommodation space and we’re informed that the new sprayhood curtain allows one enough privacy and space to take a shower in the cockpit! Sadly for sale due to the purchase of a larger yacht.
MOORING: The vessel’s very desirable northern Broads mooring is currently paid to 31st December 2019 (annual cost approximately £1,300) and it’s understood that the mooring is available to the purchaser subject to negotiation.
