Remarks:
This River Cruiser Class yacht was originally commissioned by a private owner as a racing boat, with her cabin being enlarged in the 1920s to facilitate more comfortable cruising and racing. She was professionally restored over a number of years by Colin Buttifant (completed 2011) with her racing heritage kept very much in mind so as to keep her competitive, and has been maintained to an extremely high standard since with a meticulous attention to detail that is clearly evident throughout. She benefits from a quiet and ecologically sound electric motor (new batteries June 2017 and new charger 2019) making cruising under power a pleasure, and had new sails, standing/running rigging and winches fitted in 2011/12. Purchased by the current owners in 2017, this fantastic Broads yacht is now offered for sale as the owners wish to downsize due to a change of circumstances.
MOORING: It’s understood that a very desirable northern Broads mooring may be available to the purchaser subject to agreement from the mooring owner.
