Remarks:
Following on from the success of the earlier Albatross, the Ray Wright Delta speedboat was designed in the 1960s with a slightly longer hull to provide more cockpit and engine space and also greater stability at speed, with high speed handling further improved on the later examples (such as the one for sale here) by the addition of water filled sponsons. Built initially in aluminium, they were later produced in GRP, and proved a popular and practical ski and sports boat. This GRP example has been in the current ownership for just over a year and benefits from a number of upgrades and improvements made in 2020. She’s understood to be in lovely condition, and comes complete with road trailer and a good engine which we’re told runs well and sounds great!
Currently lying on her trailer at the vendor’s home in mid Norfolk and ready for viewing and/or collection.
