Remarks:
The Drascombe Lugger remains a very popular open day sailer/cruising/adventure boat and was the first Drascombe built (with over 2000 built between the late 1960s and 2000, and since superseded and built as the Devon Lugger). Larger than the Drascombe Dabber, and smaller than the Gig and Longboat, this traditionally styled ‘Swallows and Amazons’ day sailer can accommodate up to 6 people and is ideal for for sea, lochs or lakes. One Lugger famously even sailed from England to Australia in 1969-1970 – quite possibly the longest journey ever undertaken in a small open sailing boat at that time!
This Drascombe Lugger is being sold complete with a galvanised, braked, single axle road trailer (although the vendor would be willing to consider an offer for the boat alone, without the trailer) and is ready to tow and sail!
DELIVERY: Lying Dumfries and Galloway, south west Scotland. The vendor is willing to deliver the vessel within the UK for the cost of fuel and any other expenses incurred.
BOAT JUMBLE VIEWINGS: This boat will be available for viewing at:
