Remarks:
Bearing similarities to an inspector’s launch, and previously used as a trip boat carrying up to 14 people on South Walsham Broad before being purchased the current owners, this vessel is a replica of the type of launch that was popular on the Thames and other inland waterways of Great Britain in the late Victorian/Edwardian era. She offers spacious accommodation, ideal for socialising and entertaining on board, with seating in both her forward cockpit and rear well, and also inside her cabin which is light and bright thanks to the huge ‘picture’ windows. The interior seating also converts to a double berth, and this together with the separate heads compartment and plumbed freshwater system (which could be easily and cheaply complimented with a ‘camping-style’ stove for the morning cuppa!), allows her to be used for overnighting on board too. Bespoke fitted canopy/windowed panels fore and aft can be removed on sunny days enabling the occupants to better enjoy the fresh air and great outdoors, or used to fully enclose the cockpit and rear well when protection from the elements is required or on cooler evenings, or just simply to increase the accommodation space overnight, making this a very versatile day cruiser/weekender. Sadly selling “Beatrice” has been forced on her owner by ill health and subsequent mobility issues.
Please note, we are informed that the vessel’s decks will require some remedial repairs in the not too distant future (at an estimated cost of about £3,000). The trailer pictured is not included in the sale.
And finally… The vendor also has a (gorgeous!) cottage for sale locally too, and so there’s the opportunity to make this purchase a full “Escape to the Country” lifestyle change! Details of the property are available from Aldreds Estate Agents.
Topsail Marine Yacht Brokers is acting as brokers (or in the case of classified adverts, advertising medium) only and unless stated otherwise the vendor is not selling in the course of business. Whilst every care has been taken in their preparation, the correctness of particulars is not guaranteed and they are intended as a guide only.
