Remarks:
Reportedly the last Farrington 25 to be made with desirable options including brass windows and a lead keel.
This late Farrington 25 was built by Kingsley Farrington only about 14 years ago and was launched in 2007. She has been very lightly used (and raced only once – Yare Navigation Race, the year that there was no wind!) and she is understood to be in NEAR IMMACULATE CONDITION as a consequence! With a low maintenance GRP hull (and in this instance, GRP decks from new too) and the appearance, beauty and grace of a traditional Norfolk Broads yacht, the Farrington 25 is perhaps the perfect sailing boat for a couple who wish to cruise and/or race on Broads. An excellent example of her class and ready to de-winterise and launch almost immediately.
A note regarding this vessel’s name: Manannan Mac Lir was a deity in Celtic mythology. Son (Mac) of Lir, the Irish God of the sea, he the first Ruler of Mann (Isle of Man).
