Remarks:
The Hunter Minstrel 23 is a versatile and capable, pretty double-ender. Designed by David Thomas (designer of the Sigma and Elizabethan, as well as many other Hunters), the Minstrel uses the same hull as the Hunter Liberty 22 and 23 cat ketches. With her shallow draft, lifting keel and folding rudder, she is able to sail and cruise almost anywhere, both inland and inshore. She is also able to take advantage of cheap drying moorings, greatly reducing annual costs and potentially opening up mooring opportunities closer to home. This example was factory-built for the 1986 London Boat Show and is available with a recently overhauled road trailer if required, good sails and a four stroke outboard. A great little pocket cruiser!
A short video showing the Honda 5hp outboard being ran briefly ashore (with cooling provided by a bucket of water) is available upon request.
