Remarks:
Designed and built locally, this is a very well-presented example of the ever popular Pegasus 800, and one of the last to have been built. Sporting the popular combination of wing keel and fractional rig, this Pegasus 800 is equipped to an unusually high specification having previously cruised both the Broads and the East Coast.
She boasts a number of non-standard upgrades such as a Y-frame for mast lowering/raising, non-slip decks, an impressive selection of sails including a spinnaker and screecher and an abundant array of navigation equipment including auto-helm, making her well-equipped for great coastal sailing performance.
Offering considerably more interior space than her smaller sister (the Pegasus 700) and in addition to the great sailing performance there is ample, comfortable accommodation with good standing headroom for family cruising and extended stays on board.
It’s not hard to see why the Pegasus 800 is both the perfect modern Broads cruiser/racer for a couple or family as well as being suitable for both beginners and seasoned sailors alike thanks to her renowned good performance.
Now for sale owing to a change of pace and a shift towards motor boats.
