Remarks:

Owners remarks: It’s been an absolute privilege to own and sail Claire. Bought for plans that have now changed, I’m gutted to see her go to her next home. That sloping coach roof and the swept back coaming around the cockpit was what drew me to her. Far less ‘square’ than some of the other traditional broads yachts. Claire has an amazing ability to sail against the tide with what appears to be no wind! The surveyor we used when purchasing her said that for 1952 she essentially had a ‘space age’ keel design, because it’s incredibly similar to that of today’s racing yachts. She has a full size (4’6″ wide) by approx. 6’6″ long double bed (which can be used as 2 x singles without the infill cushion and a cocktail cabinet. It’s no wonder that the Truman Ecstasy yachts were known as “The Honeymoon boats”. Complete luxury for 2.
