Remarks:

A Bruce Roberts Mauritius 43  design, built in South Africa in 1984 and elongated (at the bow) to 47ft.

A very comfortable and functional live aboard vessel with accommodation for 7. With  a nice safe centre cockpit and good deep long keel, she is ideal for blue water cruising and ocean crossings. In previous ownership she has already done a couple of Atlantic circuits and multiple sailings between the UK and Spain.

Bought by the current owner and full time professional sailor as a  ‘fixer-upper’, much work has already been done, especially to the engine which is now very reliable, along with the fuel tank, compass and standing rigging which is now ideal for ocean crossings. The Bruce Roberts construction plans have been purchased for referencing and a survey was conducted in 2022 which is available on request, although it should be noted works have been done since.

She still requires a few bits and as well as a complete suite of sails which is the majority the work to turn her into a good ocean cruising vessel. She would ideally suit someone with a big trip in mind, who is planning time to do a refit before set off.

She’s a blank canvas with a good hull for someone to create their ideal long-distance cruiser.
