Remarks:
This River Cruiser Class yacht was originally commissioned by Ernest Woods for his own personal use. Smuggler was later recruited into the hire fleet until 1939 when she was understood to be used on Hickling Broad to deter paratroopers. She then returned to private use after the war.
Purchased by the current owners in 1992, this lovely Broads yacht is now offered for sale owing to her owners retiring from sailing.
MOORING: It’s understood that her northern Broads mooring may be available to the purchaser subject to agreement from the mooring owner.
