DESCRIPTION: The boat has a beautiful cockpit with seating and lockers to either side. The cabin has the toilet immediately to port and the galley area, with a Flavel Vanessa cooker (2 burners, grill and oven) to starboard. Forward of these there is a single settee berth to either side, both with drawers under. The boat has a lifting cabin-top which gives 6′ headroom. The boats cabin top (dark green) has been finished in epoxy resin impregnated woven glass, giving a very traditional (but water-tight!) appearance and her bright work is in excellent order. She has a very graceful counter-stern and a spoon bow with a hatch into her forepeak in the foredeck. She comes complete with mud weight, rhond anchors, ropes and fenders, plus a fitted cover and over-boom cockpit tent.

REMARKS: This boat was the subject of a major (£25,000) restoration programme in 1993. She has been Sikaflexed below water and treated with West System above and would appear to be in excellent condition. For sale now due to ill-health she is a unique survivor of the late Victorian era. We hold a lot of historical material about her in addition to which an article, relating the story of her restoration, was published in “Classic Boat”. She is a really beautiful small Broads sailing cruiser. With her tan sails and bright varnish work, she is well known throughout the Broads where her owner is Life President of the Vintage Wooden Boat Association.

Update November 2003: This yacht does now need her gas system updating, and some cosmetic work to repair marks left by fenders and her cover. The total cost of this work is believed to be in the region of approx. £2000 and is included in the asking price (unless it is not required by the new owner in which case the asking price is negotiable).
