EQUIPMENT: Internal: The boat has a good sized cockpit with seating to either side. The companionway leads down into the main cabin where, to starboard, is the heads and navigation station, and to port is the galley and also access to the quarter-cabin. The heads provides a sea-toilet, hand basin and shower. The navigation area has a chart table, seat for the navigator, chart storage and the vessel’s electrical control panel, navigation gear, etc. The galley provides a 2 burner cooker (with oven), stainless steel sink unit (with pressurised hot and cold), Waeco refrigerator/cool box (new 2001), worktop, cupboards, etc. Going aft, the quarter-cabin has a double berth, hanging locker and escape hatch into the cockpit. There is also excellent access to the engine compartment – from all sides. Going forward, there is an L-shaped settee to port and a further settee to starboard outboard – and below – of which there are numerous fitted lockers. In the bow there are two full-length single berths (can convert to a double). Upholstery is in dralon and interior woodwork is in solid mahogany to a very high standard. Headroom is good at over 6′ and she benefits from Webasto 4-outlet warm air cabin heating, a stereo/cassette system and shorepower. Navigation equipment includes: NASA Navtex, Garmin 65 GPS, ICOM VHF, Autohelm 100 paper chart plotter, Navico radar (installed 2000), Autohelm ST60 depth sounder, speed and distance log, wind speed/direction and multi-display (chartroom) – new 2000. The boat has wheel steering with a binnacle compass and cover. External: The boat is fitted with stainless steel pulpit, pushpit, stanchions and guardlines. She has s sugar-scoop transom with built-in boarding ladder and bathing platform, and is fitted with dodgers and a sprayhood. Deck equipment includes: Lewmar ST40 primary winches, ST24 spinnaker, ST16 on the coachroof and ST8 on the mast. Ground tackle includes: 25 lb plough anchor with chain and warp, kedge anchor, ropes and fenders. She carries an Oscar man overboard and lifebuoy.

REMARKS: This boat appears to be in very good condition and is virtually ready to sail away. She has numerous extras – the shower in the heads, for example – not standard on new boats. We understand she has been cruised extensively to Holland, Normandy and Cornwall. She is currently laid up ashore for the winter, as she has been every year. She was epoxied in 1997 (the boat come from the manufacturer with an anti-osmosis barrier and 5 year guarantee). For sale as her owner has purchased a larger vessel.

OUR OPINION: A lovely, spacious and well fitted out high-performance sailing cruiser: early viewing recommended.
