Remarks:
Following on from the phenomenal success of the Centaur, Westerly expanded their bilge keel range in 1970 with the launch of the 23ft Pageant and 21ft Warwick models. 207 of the latter were built before the model was re-launched in 1977 as the Westerly 21, with new windows, a perspex sliding companionway hatch and an improved, all wood interior. A further 55 boats were built before production ceased in 1979.
This Westerly 21 is currently lying afloat in commission and ready to sail! It’s understood that her summer mooring on the northern Broads could be transferred to the purchaser (March to November – annual cost just £200!).
