Remarks:
This very attractive Stornaway 18 has had only two owners from new (including the original builder) and has only been lightly used to date on inland waters, most recently on the Norfolk Broads for which she is well suited with her traditional styling and shallow draft. Designed for estuary and coastal sailing, she is a stable boat and with her loose footed main and furling genoa, she is easy and pleasing to sail for both beginners and experienced sailors alike. Offering a surprising 4 berths (including two in the cockpit under her custom made cockpit tent), she would ideally suit a couple or small family. Sadly for sale due to bereavement, she is being sold complete with a road/launch trailer facilitating easy (and cost effective!) storage and maintenance at home if desired. A really pretty little traditionally styled daysailer/weekender/trailer sailer. A quick sale is desired and this boat is priced to sell!
PLEASE NOTE The starting price (excluding trailer, cover, outboard, etc.) for a new Stornaway 18 kit is upwards of £10,000 depending upon the current exchange rate.
BSS: We understand that this vessel does not at present have any appliances or systems that fall into the scope of the Boat Safety Scheme and she does not therefore have a BSS certificate.
