Remarks:
The Skipper Mariner 17 is a deservedly popular trailer sailer with good performance and accommodation. Developed from the open dayboat Skipper 17 and earlier single lifting keel Skipper 17 cabin version, the Skipper Mariner offers a good sized cockpit and accommodation for up to four which thanks to her twin lifting keels is surprisingly spacious, having no chunky central keel case taking up valuable cabin space as is so common with trailer sailers of this size. Easily towed and launched, the Skipper 17 is a great little trailer sailer for a single person, couple or small family and is renowned for her pleasing and sprightly performance. Given her small size, the Skipper Mariner 17 is also cheap to moor and/or easily kept on a driveway at home.
This example appears to be in very good condition throughout and comes complete with a nearly new trailer and outboard motor! A really tidy example, and an ideal first boat. For sale as the vendor has up-sized.
