Remarks:
Combining the grace and beauty of a traditional Broads yacht with the practicality of a GRP hull and a diesel engine, the Easticks 28 is a deservedly popular cruiser/racer. This example, which is somewhat unusual in having a Bermudan rig, has a successful racing record to her credit, but is easily managed by two when cruising. With four berths and a huge cockpit, she is extremely spacious and therefore ideal for family use.
Purchased by the current owner in 2022, she has been well maintained and had her rig re-designed by Andrew Wolstenholme making the boom and bowsprit shorter and installing a mast crane to now use fixed backstays at all times. New sails have been designed by Jeckells in addition her standing rigging being fully overhauled making for a fabulous sailing package all wrapped up in a GRP hull.
Now unexpectedly for sale after a change in circumstances, this is an exciting opportunity for anyone who enjoys both cruising and racing to test out her new capabilities.
MOORING: It is understood that this vessel’s swing mooring (currently paid until the end of the 2024 season) may be available to the purchaser, subject to agreement by the mooring owner and with relevant memberships.
Additionally, she comes with the option to purchase a beautiful and completely restored mahogany tender built by Landamores in 1961 complete with a trailer, new electric outboard, battery and cover for £1000. (Awaiting photos)
September update: Price substantially lowered to bring about a quick sale.
