Remarks:

The Jeaneau Sun 2000 is a well built, responsive and easy to handle modern pocket cruiser.

RCD Category C and with a lifting keel they are ideal for weekend coastal cruising but also perfect for exploring rivers, creeks & estuaries.

An excellent boat for 20ft with a big cockpit and surprisingly roomy berths that is very popular for single handed sailors.

A fun and practical boat with a sailing performance to match many racing yachts of the time.

Lulabel is well behaved, points well, handles easily in light conditions F1-F3.  In stronger conditions she requires additional crew but does benefit from slab reefing.  The yacht is stable and with the design provides a large cockpit to enable groups of four adults and two children to be safely accommodated sailing  on inland waters.  The air draft is circa 1.6m with the mast down and able to navigate Potter Heigham bridge under low tides with care.  She requires careful handling with the mast down due to the length over the stern.

Her owner comments:

“Lulabel, has been lightly used and was originally sailed on Windermere but was out of the water  and stored ashore for some 10 years.

I have sailed her exclusively as a single handed sailor, so primarily sailing Barton Broad and adjacent rivers.  Lulabel is versatile as the lifting keel enables her to be brought safely into shallow water.  I purchased a new electric outboard as I only require power to get to and from the marina and moorings.  This is excluded from the sale as I will be purchasing another sailing boat to continue my sailing into my seventies.  Lulabel is ready to sail this season and looks is great condition after re-polishing the hull.”
