Remarks:
The Bahia is the larger and more stable big brother to the standard Laser class. Benefitting from a spacious cockpit with room for 5 adults, a higher boom for more headroom and increased stability all whilst still being easy to sail, motor or row, makes the Bahia ideal for leisure or racing for the whole family.
An ideal day sailer on the Norfolk Broads and other inland waterways for both those learning to sail as well as advanced club racers. The boats are robust and easy to handle in windy weather, the masthead flotation reduces the risk of total inversion and they are designed to be easy to right making it easy to get everyone back on board safely.
This particular vessel was built for the Laser racing team with the current owner having acquired it directly from them in 2016Â (a generous birthday present).
Being built specifically for the Laser team, she benefits from a few extras and special sails, although the details cannot be confirmed.
Overall, in good condition and looks considerably newer than her years given her light use. She has been much enjoyed as a family sailing vessel she is now for sale owing to her becoming too large for the current owner to comfortably handle solo.
