Remarks:
The Leisure 22 is a capable and well-regarded British-built compact sailing cruiser thatās ready for both coastal adventures and inland waterways. Known for their stability, ease of handling, and surprisingly spacious interior for a 22-footer.
This vessel stands out as being sea-ready with a good service history of maintenance and numerous recent upgrades including new berth cushions (2024), updated engine (2018) and recently resealed window as well as the sails, sheets and rigging all being in good order.
The owner comments:
We bought her in 2018 and sailed her up the coast to Lowestoft from Brightlingsea, where she had been based previously. She is a very capable sea boat and we have much enjoyed the trips we have had with her out of Lowestoft. The 14HP inboard engine is ideal for the tidal east coast and a rare bonus in the Leisure 22, where most are equipped with outboards.
She has been used on the Norfolk Broads for much of the last six years. Ideal for weekends away and the right size for getting under most of the bridges with the mast down. We have maintained her well and carried out upgrades with coastal sailing in mind. She would be at home on a coastal or inland mooring.
