Remarks:
The Thurne Restricted Class sailing cruiser, a cabin version of the Yare & Bure One Design (YBOD) or ‘White Boat’. is known for her impeccable sailing performance, both single handed or crewed. With her GRP hull and timber superstructure, she combines the advantages of modern materials and low maintenance with the grace and beauty of a traditional Norfolk Broads river cruiser. This example has clearly been maintained to a very high standard (with her 2007 condition report provided a valuation of £15,000 for insurance purposes). Other Thurne Restricted Class yachts have been accepted into the River Cruiser Class and it is possible that this example could be too, subject to meeting the class rules and being successfully scrutinised, etc. A beautiful little Broads sailing cruiser!
The 2012 condition report concluded: “In excellent condition throughout. All varnish-work in A1 condition. The sails, cover and wooden spars were also inspected and found to be in good order.”
PLEASE NOTE: A 2014 Honda outboard is available by negotiation.
