Remarks:
Built by Martham Boats in 1954, this very attractive half decker was exhibited at Olympia at the British Industries Fair. Her design is unusual for a Broads half decker with the inclusion of a large cuddy which provides shelter for those who wish to camp on board overnight, and her shallow draft and lifting keel make her ideal for sailing on Hickling Broad. She was rescued from long term barn storage by the previous owner, and the vendor has continued to improve her with a programme of works carried out as part of her winter maintenance each year.
The vendor also has for sale a 1926 C & G Press River Cruiser Class Yacht and is open to offers for both vessels together.
MOORING: This vessel’s northern Broads mooring is currently paid up to March 2016 and may be transferable to the purchaser subject to negotiation (pro-rata) and agreement from the mooring owner. The annual cost of the mooring is understood to be approximately £900 per annum.
Topsail Marine Yacht Brokers is acting as brokers (or in the case of classified adverts, advertising medium) only and unless stated otherwise the vendor is not selling in the course of business. Whilst every care has been taken in their preparation, the correctness of particulars is not guaranteed and they are intended as a guide only. Prospective purchasers are strongly advised to check all particulars and where appropriate employ an independent qualified agent to carry out a survey and/or sea/river trial. Vessels are offered subject to prior sale, amendment or withdrawal without notice.
