Remarks:
Designed by David Thomas (designer of the Elizabethan 30 and the hugely successful Sigma 33/36/38 amongst many others) and built in Britain by Hunter Boats (now British Hunter), the Hunter Duette, of which over 200 have been built to date, is the bilge keel version of the popular Hunter Sonata cruiser/racer. Whilst the Duette has an excellent reputation for stability and easy and predictable handling, she also offers very good performance, and that together with her shallow draft and ability to dry out upright make her an ideal sailing cruiser for the Norfolk Broads and east coast.
