Remarks:
Purchased by the current owner in 2013 and now for sale due to the owner wanting to spend more time sailing at sea, this RCC Broads yacht was built for the Chumley and Hawke hire fleet in Horning and was designed by A W Braithwaite, who designed a number of yachts for Chumley and Hawke as well as a number of sea going craft. Originally rigged as a Gunter Una rig, she was converted to a Bermudan sloop in 1960 after being transferred to the Eastwood Whelpton hire fleet at Upton, and she was eventually sold into private ownership in about 1986. Constantly improved and updated by both the current and previous owner, this river cruiser class yacht is understood to sail well and be ready for use, and her owner is keen to find her a new home where she will continue to be well looked after.
Please note: Whilst the 4hp outboard is included in the asking price, an appropriate reduction in price will be made if the outboard is not required by the purchaser.
MOORING: Lying ashore at time of writing but due to be relaunched imminently. It is understood that the Vessel’s southern Broads mooring (approximately £850 per annum) could be transferred to the purchaser subject to agreement from the mooring owner.
