Remarks:
Following on from the success of the Norman 22, the Norman 23 is a popular aft cockpit cabin cruiser, ideal for the inland waterways, lakes, rivers and canals of the UK. With their low running cost and easy handling, they make an ideal first boat, and this example benefits from having a 4 year old, little used and regularly serviced 15hp outboard motor. Great for weekends away, the cabin offers three berths (or perhaps four if you don’t mind getting cosy!) and additional berth space in the cockpit if required.
This Norman 23 is sadly for sale following the passing of her owner and she is as a consequence sold as seen. The beam dimension provided here is approximate and any potential purchaser should take their own measurement if future canal use is required. The boat does require some cosmetic tidying, externally and internally (we understand that there is a quantity of material included in the sale to replace the headlining in the forecabin that is missing, for example), and she would suit someone happy to carry out such works themselves. She will need to be removed from the current location upon completion of the sale, and the purchaser may have to engage the services of a transporter with hiab or a portable crane to move her.
Topsail Marine Yacht Brokers is acting as brokers (or in the case of classified adverts, advertising medium) only and unless stated otherwise the vendor is not selling in the course of business. Whilst every care has been taken in their preparation, the correctness of particulars is not guaranteed and they are intended as a guide only. Prospective purchasers are strongly advised to check all particulars and where appropriate employ an independent qualified agent to carry out a survey and/or sea/river trial. Vessels are offered subject to prior sale, amendment or withdrawal without notice.
