Remarks:
The Pegasus 700 is an ever-popular, low maintenance, cruiser/racer, ideal for Broads cruising having been designed and built locally at Oulton Broad and thanks to her easily lowered mast and shallow draft.
This example has the popular lifting keel and benefits from new (2023) Webasto warm air heating, an extremely tidy interior and shore power (recommended to be check by a qualified electrician).
Used predominantly for day sailing of late, she does now require some TLC and tidying to her exterior otherwise offers a lot of potential to someone willing to invest a little time and effort in her.
The owner comments:
“I bought this boat as the Pegasus 700 is renowned on the Broads as a superb sailing boat, this one attracted me as it has an excellent interior, rigged for self acting jib, plus a new, high quality, hot air heater for the chilly Broads nights. I am only selling as I live too far away to look after it, plus I was hoping that the grandchildren would take up sailing, but it’s not to be. I am a motivated seller and open to serious offers.”
MOORING: It’s understood that this vessel’s northern Broads mooring may be available to the purchaser, subject to negotiation and agreement by the mooring owner.
